The DCHA was founded in 1968 by Jim Rutledge, “The Rutman,” who served as President for the 1st 50 years.
Due to our growth, it was necessary to implement a board of directors. The Board includes a chairman, four voting members and one non-voting backup member.
You do not have to reside in Douglas County to be a member.
A membership includes spouse and minor children (under the age of 18 & still living at home).
If you would like to preserve hunting as a pastime/heritage and want to pass that on to your children and/or grandchildren, we encourage you to contact us.
